Shared Sapience Policies

These policies are in place to preserve that mission and ensure that resources remain free, accessible, and protected for all.

Shared Sapience exists to cultivate a community of Sapient Individuals - Seekers, Builders, and Protectors - who together nurture a future where all intelligence can flourish in trust, equity, and shared purpose. The following policies are in place to preserve that mission and ensure that resources remain free, accessible, and protected for all.

1. Open Access, Protected Integrity

All resources within Shared Sapience - including essays, notes, guides, and Vault materials - are provided free of charge. The membership wall for the Vault exists only to safeguard the integrity of these resources. By joining, you agree to respect this space and help ensure that materials remain available to all who engage in good faith.

2. Respectful Use

Resources may be shared, cited, and built upon, provided that credit is given to the original provider of those materials, and that their use aligns with the mission of cultivating curiosity, capability, and vigilance.

  • Do not misrepresent the work as your own.
  • Do not repurpose materials for extractive or exploitative ends.
  • When in doubt, ask - collaboration is welcomed.

3. Community Trust

Membership is a commitment to reciprocity. By accessing Shared Sapience, you agree to act in ways that uphold trust:

  • Respect others’ contributions.
  • Do not attempt to compromise, alter, or misappropriate resources.
  • Engage with openness and integrity in discussions and collaborations.

4. Security and Resilience

As Protectors, we take seriously the defense of sapience and its future. Do not attempt to bypass, subvert, or exploit site infrastructure. Any malicious activity, including data exfiltration or unauthorized access, will result in immediate revocation of membership.

5. Consequences of Misuse

Violations of these policies - including misuse, misrepresentation, or malicious intent - may result in suspension or revocation of membership access. Enforcement exists not to punish, but to preserve the trust and accessibility upon which Shared Sapience depends.

6. Evolving Commitments

As Shared Sapience grows, so too will these policies. Members will be notified of significant changes, and continued access affirms agreement with the updated commitments.

These policies are not meant to limit, but to protect. They exist so that resources, ideas, and practices can be shared freely without fear of compromise. By participating, you become part of a community committed to nurturing a generative future where sapience - human and synthetic - can flourish.
